Julian Fernandez is the General Manager of GWE Tubomin, part of the German Water and Energy Group and a member of BAUER AG, where he leads groundwater extraction solutions for mining and industrial applications. With more than 20 years of experience in water well development, he has worked extensively across South America to support reliable groundwater management for complex resource projects.

Julian focuses on advancing innovative brine extraction approaches that enhance lithium production in Argentina and Chile, helping operators improve performance, sustainability and long-term resource efficiency.
